Various things are afoot. First, I have a photography show coming up next month here in Ithaca. It's called "Words In The Wild," and features 12 color photos of found texts, along with poems by Ed Skoog incorporating those texts. The show will be on display at the Ithaca Community Arts Partnership gallery on the Commons throughout October, and Ed is coming up for a reading. More on that when we iron out the details.

In other news, I will be doing a combination concert/reading as part of a "Rhythm and Reading" night at Cornell's Barnes Hall, Wednesday, October 21, 7:30pm. The event is another in Cornell's ongoing Creative Writing Centennial, and will also feature H.G. Carrillo, Lyrae van Clief-Stefanon, Johnny Dowd and Richie Stearns. Not coincidentally, the new Inverse Room album is out. It's called Exquisite Replica, and is available for download on the IR page, as 320kbps mp3 download. The album contains the songs "Counterfeit Umbrella" (which can be heard in this video) and "Drinking On The Job," an extended version of a tune from the Pieces For The Left Hand album.
